Account & data deletion
This page explains how to delete your Slovira data and account. Slovira works without an account; you only have an account if you signed in with Google to use cloud sync.
Delete your data inside the app (immediate)
- Delete all your words — open Settings → “Delete all my words.” This removes your vocabulary from this device and from the cloud.
- Sign out — open Settings → Account → Sign out to stop further cloud sync.
- You can also edit or delete individual words at any time.
Delete your entire account and all data
To request deletion of your whole account and all associated data, email serhiko@slovira.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account.”
What is deleted
- Your account identity (email, display name, and account ID held via Firebase Authentication).
- All vocabulary and learning progress stored in our cloud database (Firestore): your words, translations, examples, notes, statuses, schedules, XP, streaks, and achievements.
What this does not affect
- Data kept only on your device (such as app settings and any images attached to words) — uninstalling the app removes that.
Timing
We will delete your cloud-stored personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except where we must retain something to comply with a legal obligation.
